How To Exchange Links

Here’s my way of doing link exchanges. I link them first before contacting them. With this strategy, you can get blogs linking to your blog everyday. Here’s how it goes:

1. Search the blogosphere for at least 5 blogs that are related to your niche.

2. Add all of them to your blog roll or link list.

3. Contact the blogger and ask for a link exchange, telling them that you already added them to your blog roll.

4. Most of the time, the blogger will reply and tell you that they agree with your link exchange offer and already linked back.

5. Repeat on the next day.
Do this everyday and for 1 month, you’ll have at least 150 links from other blogs. If 20% did not link back, you still have 120 link exchanges, right? Then, remove those blogs that did not link back after a grace period. I think, 1 month grace period is enough. But don’t mention it when contacting them, that if they did not link back, you’ll delete them from your blog roll. You are the one asking for favor, so avoid threatening remarks, ok?
Now, how do you contact a blogger for a link exchange? Again, before contacting them, make sure that you already linked them.

;)
Chain Links1. Tagboard. Most personal blogs have tagboard. Blog owners are responsive on their tagboard. They read it everyday. So, look for it first. Link exchanging via tagboard is faster and easier. Make it short and direct to the point.

2. Instant Messenger. Some bloggers give their instant messenger ID. That means they are ok to chat with you, right? Why give it if they don’t want to be disturbed? :D So, talk to them. Make friends. Then, ask if you can exchange links. ;) They will gladly link back since you already linked to them.

3. Twitter, Plurk, whatever. Microblogging is the “in” thing today. If they publish their Twitter or Plurk IDs, contact them using direct message feature. Again, they will gladly link back since you already linked to them

4. Contact Form / E-mail. If the blogger you want to exchange link with doesn’t have the first 3 options I mentioned above, this will be your last resort. Contact them thru their contact form or e-mail address and pray that they will respond. If they respond, then good. When your grace period expires and they did not link back, simply remove them fromyour blog roll and move on. :) There are literally millions of blogs you can still exchange links with

Blog Online Marketing

Blog Online Marketing

To build and run the success profitable blogs for earning extra money on the internet, you must know how to do it properly. You will discover basic great tips to build your own blogs, get your blogs seen on the internet and become an outstanding among competitors on the internet. You will learn how to build, run and grow your blogs, as your marketing channel, in this article.

Generally, blogs are also known as web logs. Those blogs are the fastest growing technology on the internet. With there being so many blogs on the internet right now, how do you make your blogs known and get people to read it. How do you have the most often read blog on the niche market that you are promoting? My experiences show that there are many people who are trying to all accomplish the same thing. The big issue is how you can become an outstanding among those people.

There are several things that you can do to make your blog online marketing a success, and I am going to cover some of them in this article. I am going to share you 8 basic great tips to build your own successful blogs.

1. The first thing that you should know is that you should have your blog URL pointing to your niche market. For example, if you are trying to promote and sell sunglasses from your blog, you want your URL to say www.sunglasses.blogurl.com. Doing so will give you an extra advantage.

The free blog platform is rarely in my home based internet marketing business. Personally, I believe that the reliability will realize on your blog platform as well. Many people use the free blog platforms for theirhome based internet marketing business, which I don’t recommend you to use them.

2. The next step you should do in your blog online marketing

is to customize your own blog. Rather than having the same old blog interface like everyone else has, make your unique and interesting to look at. There are so many types of blog software on the market that having your own look should not be that difficult to accomplish.

3. Obviously it appears that the keyword research is another very important element of your blog online marketing. If you are not using the keywords on which people search, then no one is going to find your blogs. I recommend you to have variety of niche keywords in your blog. It should not just the same one over and over. Not everyone just uses the term ‘sunglasses’ when they are searching for shades to keep the sun out of their eyes. Remember, the effective keyword research is an important factor to drive more traffic to your blogs.

4. In general, using SEO on your blog, which stands for search engine optimization, is a great idea as well. SEO will help get your blog out there and read, and will also help you get a better ranking with Google. Being as high as you can be in the Google search engine results is something that you want.

5. Exchanging the link among other blogs is a great approach to grow your blog’s popularity. Find other sites and blogs that are in the same market as yours, but not in direct competition with you to exchange links with. This will help you out a lot as well, especially if you can get some good exchanges with high authority sites. The higher the page rank of your link exchange, the better for your blog.

6. Many internet entrepreneurs do not realize this, but having a different title tag in the HTML code on each page makes a big difference. If you have given the first page on your blog the title of ‘sunglasses’, you need to be sure that none of your other pages are named this. Doing so will make Google think that you are spamming that keyword, and that will result in them punishing your blog URL.

7. When you have done your own keyword research, you will want to write content based on the research you have done. Using one or two keywords, make entries into your blog using the keywords will make it easy for your blog to be indexed under those terms. That will also result in people searching on those particular terms able to find your blog.

8. At last, pinging your blog frequently is another great way to have your blog seen. Every time that you update it, use the ping tools to ping it. This will let all of the blog directories know that you have added something new to your blog. This also brings you in some more traffic.

Final thoughts, I strongly believe that blog online marketing is pretty much the same as website marketing

Utilize Courtesy Within Your Blogging Niche

A great way to get back links to your blog is by leaving comments on other blogs within your blogging niche. This fun, simple, and free method of traffic however does come with a set of ‘unwritten’ rules within the blogging community. Remember when visiting someone else’s blog you’re entering into a ‘conversation’ and many times you may have not been invited. Common courtesy should always be practiced in this environment.

Remember you are visiting for reasons such as learning or possibly as a favor to the host blogger. Your participation although likely welcomed, must always be in a positive manner such as knowledgeable or constructive answers, comments, or suggestions. Never use this venue to criticize, ridicule, or condemn those ‘unfortunates’ who may not share your viewpoints. Likewise any ’scalding reviews’ of a novice blogger for his or her lack of apparent experience as it may show up in the structure or appearance of their blog. Liken this experience to an office party where maintaining a politically correct posture is always the most prudent approach. As a blogger this will not only help you make friends and possibly gain readers, but also prevent you from committing ‘blogging suicide.’

As mother always told us, if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all! Within the blogging community unless you’re the ‘only’ authority within your field it’s not a good idea to antagonize others. Readers will ALWAYS have other sources to find material that’s interesting to them.

Concerning any blog comments you leave (along with the link back to your blog, of course) be sure the comment(s) are warranted. By this I mean don’t just comment for the sake of commenting so you can leave your link. Trust me; this will be identified quickly thereby making you unwelcomed in the future. One thing you don’t want is to gain the reputation of a ‘blog spammer’ since all your future comments may be banned even if they are constructive to the structure of the conversation.

Speaking to the ‘quality’ of your comments be sure that they are always helpful and appropriate. There’s neither need nor place for hostility or negativity. Keep your ‘tone’ civil and level headed.Blogging environments are structured to educate, exchange ideas and thoughts, coaching, and other means of support. Save the fighting for the ‘back alleys’ if you must!

Lastly never ’steal’ content from another site and represent it as your own. You may however use this content as long as credit is clearly given to the original source.

Always be polite and choose your words correctly when leaving blog comments. These are words documented making it difficult to hide or deny after the fact. They may be words that come back to haunt you. By ‘doing unto others’ within anyblogging niche, you’ll open many doors for yourself from which to benefit.

The Most Straightforward Way To Make Money Online

Newbie trying their hands to make money online are often confused how they can actually "make money online".

They often ask themselves questions such as: "Where exactly is the online money at and how can I take advantage of this opportunity and make some money myself?"

If you are one of these beginners, I would recommend to you that the most straightforward and simplest way to make money online is through ads marketing or ads monetization.

What exactly is Ads marketing or Ads monetization?

Ads marketing or Ads monetization simply means that you earn money by selling advertising space to advertisers.

As simple and straightforward as that!

Traditional newspapers and magazines, which have been around for ages, make money by selling advertising space.

In the online world of Internet Marketing, it is practically the same. You can make money by selling advertising space on your website.

To successfully sell advertising space, you need to:

1. Set up a website of your own

Currently, the easiest way to set up you own website is by using a blog. I recommend using a Wordpress blog if you have a little money to spare to buy domain and hosting. However, if you have no money, you can also set up a Free Blogger blog.

To find out more about setting up your Wordpress or Blogger blog, you can grab my FREE report "Your First $100 Online" just by subscribing to this blog on the top right of this page.

2. Put in valuable content to your blog on a consistent basis

Now that you have your blog set up, the next thing you need to do is to put in valuable content to your blog.

Now pay special attention when I say "valuable content". You must give valuable content that is beneficial to your blog readers, not just some rubbish and low quality content that you simply copy from another blog and paste it into your own blog.

By entertaining your blog readers on a consistent basis with valuable content that is useful to them, you make them happy they are more likely to return to your blog in the future.

These readers are also likely to recommend their friends to your blog if they feel they have benefited by reading the content on your blog.

The more people who know your blog, the higher your blog's traffic, which lead us to point number 3…

3. Drive traffic on a consistent basis

Creating great content on your blog is terrific, but you need to do some promotion so that people know your blog exists in the first place.

There are a number of ways to drive traffic to your blog:

- write articles and submit them to article directories like Ezine Articles and Go Articles

- if you have some budget, you can use PPC (pay-per-click) advertising like Google Adwords

- social bookmark your blog's content on sites such as Del.icio.us, StumbleUpon, and Digg

- participate in 1 or 2 forum discussions related to your niche

- trackback to other high profile bloggers' posts from your posts

- comment on other blogs in the same niche

4. Finally, make money by selling advertising space on your blog

When your blog is visited by a lot of people (hundreds or thousands) daily, you are ready to sell advertising space on your blog to make some money.

You can do this by selling advertising space directly without the help of third party vendors by putting up your own "Advertise here" page on your blog.

Some people, however, don't want the hassle of handling the administration work of receiving payments, setting up and activating/de-activating ads, etc.

If this is you, then you can always enlist their help of third parties such as Google Adsense or Adbrite. They take care of all the administration processes, so all you need to do is just collect money if there are advertisers who want to advertise on your blog.

Useful Ideas on Making Money with a Blog

Blogging has become extremely popular over the last few years. Many blog as a way to journal their thoughts, but it is also possible to make a decent income from blogging too. If you’re considering blogging for money, I’ll warn you that it isn’t easy money or a get-rich quick scheme. It may not be as easy or as quick as you think but with a bit of guidance and research you can make money blogging.

It’s important to start off on the right foot so you don’t become discouraged. Below are some tips to get you headed in the right direction.

Choose your subject wisely

If you’re planning to grow your blog as an income source, you’ll want to be certain to choose a subject that has a large following of people that spend money.

The topic should be something that you are knowledgeable about and, preferably something that you are passionate about, so you’ll remain interested in blogging about the topic for years to come. Before making a final decision on the subject of your blog, do some research to make sure the topic is one that is searched on the internet. If there are forums or message boards where people are discussing the topic, that makes for an even better situation.

Whatever subject you decide on, you should enjoy writing about it or have access to people who do. The success of a blog depends on its interest to readers. If you do not enjoy writing about the subject and you don’t have writers who are passionate about the topic, you can almost be guaranteed that your readers will not enjoy reading about it either, so choose wisely.

Plan Your Blogging

One mistake bloggers make is blogging when they feel like it – whatever is in their heads at that moment in time. This is fine if you are just journaling for your own benefit but if you would like to gain an audience and an income, a bit of planning is key.

When you plan your blog you should consider the categories, pages, and what you want to include in each of your posts. It would also be beneficial to make a posting schedule and stick to it, whether that is once a day, once a week or a few times each month. Your schedule may need a tweaking as time goes on but starting with one from the beginning will lay a good foundation for your blog success.

Remember to carefully select your keywords if you are trying to rank high in the search engines. Newer bloggers will find it easiest to choose long tail keyword phrases related to the niche that have less competition in the search engines than single words. (Ex: “how to get more followers on Twitter” would be easier to rank for than “Twitter” would be.)

Create Interactive Elements

Your blog may provide a place where you sound off on your thoughts and offer valuable advice, but it a good tip would also be to offer some interactive elements. Part of what makes blogs so fascinating is that they hold the possibility of developing a loyal readership. If there is nothing on your blog that people can “do” other than read, it’s going to be hard to develop a relationship with your readers. If the trust and the relationship don’t develop, your success with it may be hindered.

Examples of interactive elements would include a comments section and a poll section. Comments are generally included in the set up of your blog. This is where people can comment on the things you write, and communicate with you and other readers. Polls are available as a blog “widget” and they are beneficial to have in the sidebar of your blog. You can ask a question and have visitors choose their response.

Including these interactive elements will allow you to provide readers with what they are seeking, making them loyal readers for what hopefully be a long time to come.

Optimize Your Monetization

Once your site is up and running, you’ll need to make sure your site is set up to make money. What this is referring to is placing and positioning ads on your blog to increase your income. It’s also important to make sure you are serving your readers with ads that interest them and are related to your blogging niche.

As your visitors increase this will be easier to track and then tweak for ultimate success. That is why taking time to plan your site and work hard at getting steady traffic is of the utmost importance. That way you can split test and figure out where the best possible positions for your ads are. This may include having to try different banners, text links, etc. and see what is working and what’s not.

Making money with a blog is a goal that many people have. If you do your best to plan ahead, interest your visitors, and monetize properly it can become a reality for you too.
